Default TP CEL

The CEL you get from a test pipe is just an annoyance more than anything right? Or will it throw the car into a limp? I guess I haven't ever heard what it does on the s2k and I searched but didn't find anything

just get the spacer and you won't get the CEL. you can get one from any local hardware or car parts store.

Problem is that he has an 06. For some reason, the DBWs CEL are more difficult to fix than the previous years.

so can anyone answer my original question? If it does come on, will the car go into limp mode or run funny, or is it just something that's gonna bug me because it's on?

it's just something to bug you. it's better to try and fix it as you might want it to come on if something was ever wrong with your car.
