Hi

Ive done a search before on the forums and i didnt found anything to solve my problem. I have a carbon trunk wihout keyhole (it is brand new and my problem appears when installing). The cable for the motor is plugged, im sure. I have my spare so I cannot access to the trunk by the inside. I remove the rear bumper to get my hand by the little vent trap but wont work too. I think that the latch is too tight, thats why it wont open. When i push the release button on the remote, i hear a little click from the fuse box inside the car, but not from the motor inside the trunk but when i push the release button in the secret compartment, nothing happen. I also try to push on the trunk when someone else push the release button but wont work too. Have you any ideas?

your gonna have to go through the inside to get to it, no other way

i already try to remove the panels behind the seat but cant reach anything ... even my hand doesnt go.

i dont worry to disasemble anything on the car, just tell me what

 

mastergrade carbon trunk ... its a nice looking trunk ... when ive done the installation, i popup many times because it doesnt fit great, but the last alignment ive made, the trunk stop opening

did you just purchase it new. was it the MG1 or MG2 or another stle that mastergrade made

Try removing the back panels and using a stick of some sort to hit the emergency release button in the trunk

 

Have you asked Mastergrade anything about this?

 

now I am concerned, because I just ordered the MG2 a couple of weeks ago
