Default TypeOneRacing B-Max 182 Ti Shift Knob

pic's of my TypeOneRacing B-Max 182 Ti shift knob (P/N ALL-54102-T182R)

http://forums.clubrsx.com/showthread.php?p...58#post17664358

lowered the stick by ~1-3/16", i like the "smaller than others" size, the Ti look and shorter throw. well worth the 2min install and $112 price tag including shipping

go to a hardware store and buy the rubber piece that goes at the end of a hose so your shift boot stays up I have the same knob, and it looks even lower with the boot all the way up

back from the dead - finally got around to lowering my knob, see link below for pictures

i ended up cutting the shifter threads (~1/2") and opening up the counter sink in the knob via 7/16" drill

its too light, makes the shifting notchy.
Now running a shifter extender and a not as good looking skunk2 knob and it is WAY better.

i prefer the lighter feel and shifting is smooth as silk - if u are notchy maybe time to change trany fuild and your notchy problem has more to do with canada than your ball....
