UK Exhaust Mod
I just wanted to share a video of the UK Exhaust Mod I just took.

I've had this mod for a few months now and I couldn't be any happier. I know there are people who think this mod is stupid, but because of my priorities (saving up for a wedding), I'd rather not spend up to $1000 for an exhaust. I settled for 44mm pipes, which people don't usually go for that big of a size. In my opinion, it really opened up the exhaust note, it's plenty loud under WOT and still very civil under normal driving conditions. While cruising, I don't really notice a difference from stock. At speed, road noise & wind noise take over. As for as loss of power, I feel that there is no difference at all. I highly recommend this mod!

Sounds great!
Do you have any pics of the exhaust? I wanted to add a 44mm pipe as well but didn't know whether to buy a u-bend, straight pipe or what. Just need reference before I ask my welder to work on mine.

I removed my skunk2 to save my hearing and my sanity (and my marriage
) in favor of the UK mod (1.5" pipes). It certainly does not have the aggressive sound of an aftermarket exhaust, but it's just enough to let you know something is going on back there when you stomp the boogie pedal.
I do very much miss the sound of the skunk2, though. Ripping around the track, there's nothing like the scream of this engine with a big bore exhaust. I'll have to get a shift light or the Modifry beeper ahead of the next track day to replace the audio feedback.
For comparison with the OP video
