hello everyone, I just introduced myself in the introduction part of the forum, new owner here for about a month c: & well I have a question about the uk mod and did not know where to post. but okay I got the bypass done but it still does not sound like most uk mods ive seen on youtube and everywhere else. I do not know if I did (I went to an exhaust shop for this) the mod wrong or not. were we supposed to take off my resonator as well? ill try to take a pic and post here but will likely need help as I am new. lol

it will make it louder, but it all depends on the size of piping used

Here is mine with a 1.5 inch uk mod and berk 70mm test pipe. I should get a smaller test pipe but I sold the exhaust I used to have and just kept it..

It looks like they went in from the bottom? Probably to be lazy and try to get it done without taking the exhaust off the car.

Comparing the two I feel like the exhaust gas wouldn't travel as smoothly as it could have. How is the sound though?

Yep, the bypass should cause minimal exhaust gas disturbance. Going straight across like the OPs may even result in a loss in power
