Default UK user needs help with a replica mugen hardtop

Bought a replica mugen hood, they are quite rare over here. Anyway I am fussy and new I would need to spend some on it to get it right.

Anyway, can I fit these to it?

That way I can remove it easily like the oem hood.

Also any other tips/suggestions? The seal for the rear screen isn't perfect so may take it or and redo it, then it will be getting painted I think. It's goig on my 2002 jdm white car

Regards and thanks

yes it'll fit but you're missing some stuff. The replica can use the OEM hardware just like the original mugen.

Your missing the hardtop catchers that bolt to the car. The item you posted are the spikes that bolt to the hardtop. You also need hardtop latches for the front, or swap your soft top latches over to it.

they are interchangeable. meaning oem/replica hardware can be swapped around. the holes are in the same spots.

theres 6 pieces to the oem latching hardware. the 2 front latches, 2 catchers on the car side, and 2 rear latches on the hardtop side.

aftermarket rear hardware is usually a metal bracket that replaces the 2 catchers on the car side and the 2 rear latches on the hardtop side.
^replica tops usually come with the rear brackets and you reuse the 2 front latches from your soft top.

hope that helps
