Default Upper Windshield vinyl

First off, I'm not talking about the black vinyl sticker that goes around the windshield, I know what that is and am scared of what I might find underneath .

I would like to get one of the vinyl pieces that goes on the top couple of inches of your windshield. I have one on my CRX (came on the car from previous owner) and it's really nice and I like how it looks, but I can't figure out where to find them. I don't really want to get the bulk vinyl and cut it because I think it will look like crap. I would like to order a piece that is made specifically for the S2000 (AP1). Does anyone know where to find such a piece or even what it is called for that matter?

Thanks!
Austin

That's too much for me - i just bought a piece of black vinyl. Stuck it on wet (soapy water) and then trimmed it to my sight line when sat inside the car, which was only around 4 inches i think of vinyl. Most people don't notice until you point it out. Subtle.

No.. All wrong. You gotta make it as big as possible.

LOL! Yeah, just cover the whole windshield and then cut two little holes for your eyes.

I wish

As to how it was done.. Just buy some vinyl, soap water your windshield, place it, squeegee the water out, cut with exacto knife. Helps to have a steady hand.

Thanks guys/gals. That is exactly what I was talking about. Guess I'll be buying some bulk vinyl. If only they had vinyl that matched suzuka blue. Anything other than black is going to look hideous.

It's called a windshield banner.

I searched ebay for 'S2000 windshield banner' and found one. it's a Honda Racing item, $16, just bought it, ahah! Freaking Sweet. that'll be my first Modification to the car (I hope I can get the 'Honda' off of it though, that looks tacky I think).

Actually yes, it's printed. I am going to use it as a template to make another solid black one. I was thinking that since it was made for the S2000, it would be pre-cut to fit perfectly on the windshield, but it isn't The only good thing with it is that it has the arched bottom portion that would be a pain to try and cut out. Now I just need to figure out how to cut it to fit the windshield without looking like crap.
