Default VAFC2 not reading 100% throttle

When i floor it, it only reads 97.5% throttle. I tried to manually move the throttle plate, same results.

What does that mean? My sensor is off center? Should i loosen it, go full throttle, and tilt it till the VAFC reads 100%? Does ours even have play? Never messed with it...Any help appreciated!

You might want to look at the set up procedure of the vafc when calibrating to the throttle position of the car. You need to get into that portion of the set up of the vafc, there is a process to where you calibrate the throttle position so that the vafc reads the full range accurately.

There is a set up procedure for the throttle sensor to vafc calibration. Part of the procedure is pushing the gas pedal to the floor to 100%. You need the directions that go with the vafc to see where to access this feature in the unit and the explanation of set up to your car. This is my first guess on what needs to be re done. Good luck

And just fyi, unless you have the vafc WOT throttle percentage to be 98% or more which you shouldn't, this isn't going to effect anything. Anything over 30% is fine as this is at the point in which the factory ecu switches from narrow throttle (closed loop) to WOT (open loop.)

IIRC its on the intial screen or something, the manual is a bit confusing but i held my foot to the floor for 10secs then off for 10secs and that did it.

p.s my WOT throttle % is 80/81%
