ANTHONY I FINALLY SEE YOUR CAR! yeah it doesn't look that bad in the pic, and i'm sure it looks better in person

i've seen Seibon hoods that fit like OEM, after being adjusted a lot. hopefully i can get mine to fit like that...

if you like the Veilside Millennium hood you should ask FF2Skip about the fitment.

Ok, so everyone thinks the OEM hood has the best fitment - thats a no brainer! I have considered modding the hood and that is still an option, but getting and painting an aftermarket hood is not a problem - getting one that fits is - I'm looking for anyone with any experience - good, bad or otherwise - I don't mind spending some bucks on a good product, but I sure as hell hate to buy something that is just pain!

I have seen some pics and read some instructions on installing the hood mod - by the time I buy tools, material, it'l cost about $250 to $300. A savings over a $700 CF hood + paint job.

the only way your gonna be sure to get a high quality part w/o high chance of it not fitting properly is to get the high end cf units...mugen/j's/c-west etc..and even used your looking at 1k easy for some and if new...add shipping...now tell me the savings aren't huge about...you could get seibon but i've seen some really fubar'd cf hood fitment from them and some nice fitting ones as well...

I my Top Secret dry carbon hood. About 9.2 lbs, 1x1 weave and excellent fitment. Didn't need to adjust the latches or anything. See sig.
