vented hood for daily driver?
Looking for some opinions on water getting into the engine compartment or other issues when using a vented hood. I use my S as a daily driver, and don't want to go vented if it would be a hazard...thanks

Mines a DD and parks outside 99% of the time with no problems. I've driven in the worst of rains as well. I love my vented hood.
Depends what vented hood you're talking about.
Top Secret could be bad over time because it has vents right above the battery.
Obviously it was designed for RHD were the Master cylinder is located in place of our battery.

Passenger side, directly over the battery and just missing my supercharger intake filter.
I have a plastic battery tiedown, so no worries about rust.

Any pics of your hood?

I did the DIY venting on the passenger side for my DD, and no problems yet.
Driven in plenty of rain too.
