Swapped out my Invidia q300 resonator for a vibrant ultra quiet today. Sounds better. Not as high pitched anymore and highways are bearable now without drone. I do have a Berk hi flow cat. It went from an angry bee at WOT to an angry wasp… LOL

I actually had 2 vibrant ultra quiet resonators installed on my urge design gern pipe / dual t1r catback a couple of days ago

I opted for the smallest 2.5 inch resonators and they fit pretty well in the piping ( the left side now pokes a little outside the bumper by half an inch but not really noticble )

Now the exhaust sounds as quiet as stock but tiny bit deeper from idle to 4K but after Vtec it has the t1r muffler noise but muted down a little.

The authorities here don't like exhaust systems and with this modification it should allow to be under the radar as am going to be installing a TTS supercharger and want to be as quite as possible but with the advantage of straight through pipe design

As for drone, the gern pipe / dual t1r had minimum drone to start with but had a little booming around the 3-4K rpm. Now the booming noise has reduced a little which is great.

I had the system installed on my silver s2k with stock gearing but then shifted it to my (new to me ) track s2k that is running a 4.4 gear and spoon bushings/ subframe collars and steering collars and chassis bracing. I can't be accurate on noise description as they are completely different car setups but sufficient to say that it beats the Greddy spectrum elite that was on it. It was very droney and glad it's off the car

I'll only know for sure if this exhaust is good with the authorities when I go to get my car tested In a couple of months ! Fingers crossed hehe

same setup but after adding 2 vibrant ultra quiet resonators (only difference is that the air box was open on this dyno run and i was not running the catted gern mid pipe )

I have a 3" Vibrant Ultra Quiet resonator installed replacing the Invidia Q300 one. Made a huge difference with rasp and drone.
