If this is in the wrong forum I apologize. Let me know and I will move to where applicable. I just really need an answer. People I've talked to said that in order to tune a S2K you need to pay to have the vin unlock. I need to know if this is true, and if it is how much it costs to have it done.

No unlock code that I know of. Most people get a piggy back or if it's 06 and up flash pro

 

I have an 05. My friend is getting me a AEM EMS-4 Standalone for a discount. I was told to stay away from the piggy back system. Just because a standalone can do a lot more if you're willing to pay the little extra money. I just want to know if people are just being dumb. I kinda the only Honda lover in my group.
