Default VIS OEM Style Lip

I just got a steal on the vis oem replic lip.

i had a couple questions about it though.

1) I'm going to paint it myself. do you guys know the website that sells the OEM paint in aerosol cans? Do you think its worth it or should i just get some color white from an automotive or?? Oh i have a GPW btw.

2)Is there any other hardware i need to install? It came with screws and some other stuff. Weather stripping? is it necessary? and where can i get it for cheap?

also if im missing anything or tips on the install let me know! thanks.

I always get my paint in aerosol cans from automotivetouchup.com It's actually a very close match, but will probably never be spot on since our paint is getting older. To tell you the truth I wouldnt do it again..I did my ap1 replica lip with the paint probably 3 times, and after a couple months it would have bad chips that completely took the paint off even after a ton of prep work before paint. No matter what you do it's never going to be a "quality" job if you do it like that. I recently got my ap2 lip and stuff painted professionally and it just looks a ton better, and has yet to have a single chip in it. So I would actually just suggest getting it painted professionally, and getting it done right the first time. I don't want you to spend $40 on paint, then not be to happy with the color match and be mad that it's starting to chip just after a month or so of driving normally. It will cost less than $150 to get it done professionally most likely, so just spend the extra $100 and do it right the first time and don't worry about it.

Also you can get the OEM weatherstrip trim that are used with OEM lips and stuff from Honda. Just do a search on here and you should be able to find the part numbers.

so i test fitted it. the left corner doesn't really sit on my fender very well where the wheel well is.

anyone know how i can get it to fit more snug? thats pretty much the only problem with it. and will the hardware it came with suffice? i feel like i should double side tape the top of it? let me know.

i have all this hardware. can someone direct me to where i should be using this stuff?
