can you post some pics of your setup now.

are you going to go with shocks or a negative?
I got stock shocks with skunk2 springs on.

The front doesn't look low at all. The back looks ok.

i already don't like this guy. wouldn't be surprised if he installed them incorrectly.

probably has no clue he needs to get an alignment done either after the springs settle.

K...here it is:

I've just read stories how after even 8 MONTHS the car dropped another 1/2 inch.

Here are the skunk2 springs (8 front, 9 back) settled in about 2 days:

Hopefully it'll drop some more iA.

So,

up until today; the back has settled NICELY. Almost less than 1 finger gap...the front has stayed the same. That's really irritating me.

Anyone?

well there's two ways to install springs. there's the way you did it, and there's a way to do it using a little something i like to call "the right way". try the "right way" and preload your suspension.

I'm thinking about it. But if anything I'll pre-load the front only. I'll wait about 2 more weeks, before I get an alignment, I'll pre-load. I doubt that's gonna work since I read a lot of posts that it doesn't solve anything.

People went as far as cutting the front springs, but they didn't wait more than a week or so.

I'll see;

if your worried about the drop only, cut the springs. if you're concerned about your suspension and the overall performance and well being of the car, pre-load the suspension.

it will help a little bit, nothing miraculous, but you won't run into problems such as clunking and destroyed bushings a year down the line if you go back and do the preload. you wont notice it right now...but most likely you over-torqued some stuff under the car by not preloading.

i'm just saying if it was my car, i would go back and use that whole "right thing" stuff i was talking about.
