NIGHT MOTORSPORT is now the official distributor for WASP Composite

Available Products:

Splitters:

Chassis Mounted RACE Splitters

Wasp Composite has been making Carbon fiber splitters for S2000 community for over 3 years and has continuously improved the design over the years and we are proud to introduce the latest version with the following additions that now come STANDARD with every splitter:

1- Steel Skid Guards

Each splitter now comes with 7 steel skid guards installed at critical spots on the bottom of the splitter. each skid guard is both riveted and secured using epoxy glue. This addition will prolong the life of the splitter and your investment greatly with no additional cost to you.

Each splitter is hand crafted to your exact specification using vacuum infusion process in order to achieve a perfect resin to fiber ratio. Unlike other companies that use a single layer of 3K carbon fiber and cheap fiberglass, WASP has sandwiched a 1/2" fire retardant foam core between 2 layers of high density aerospace grade 12K carbon fiber and optional Kevlar underlayer.

What's the difference between 3K and 12K? there are 12,000 filaments of carbon in each tow vs 3,000 which makes the final part more rigid AND that's why you can stand on WASP splitters and others simply flex and fail.

An overwhelming number of folks here have had lead time and communication issues with WASP. Has anything been done to resolve their issues?

We are aware of that and Our MAIN goal is to help WASP fix this issue. They are very good at what they do however we noticed that they don't have the man power to keep up with both the production and customer service and that is where we come in. we have dedicated sales and customer service which can handle all the communication and in return free up production time to achieve faster lead times and r&d for new parts.

Ivan and John will be handling sales and customer service and can be reached through s2ki, sales@nightmotorsport.com or 909-258-2072.

^ Sounds like you are more just a distributor? Are you in a joint partnership with WASP to influence/change the way they run their business?

Bryan at Wasp was upfront about this issue with us from the beginning and after few meetings we realized that our experience in sales, marketing and packaging can greatly improve the business and customer satisfaction. They make great products at a very reasonable price and we are here to maximize their potential. We are positive that with our help they will continue making great products and soon release their new products such as vented hood, chassis mounted rear wing, trunk skin, redesigned prepeg carbon fiber brake cooling kit and full undertray that are all in the process now.

Just wondering, for the splitter to work with the Amuse R1 bumper, do you need to cut the bottom portion of the bumper?
