Default Water drainage

Is it safe to drive in rain without any of the rear and side plastic interior pieces that have water drainage paths? I did not have time to trim them and re-install after removing for my roll bar, but there is a 50% chance of rain at the track tomorrow...

I'm confused by your question. Of course I would prefer there was not water in my car. End of the day, I risked it and went for it with no issues. Was in rain the entire hour and a half drive home with no water inside. The softop must drain itself and those are back up.

I think you didnt replace the parts that are molded for the top, located on the sides of the soft top tray? Not the cups with tubes attached or the plastic on the bottom of the soft top.

Check your trunk. That's where the water seems to go when the drains fail.

The rain rail is riveted to the soft top. You can safely drive without the interior trim installed; it is cosmetic.

Utah

P.S. No water in trunk.
