Default Way too loud!

I just installed my T1R 70MM today in the rain. That's hardcore... lol

Ok, here's the problem, the exhaust is way too loud so, if I put the silencer back on will I lose power? I heard back then that having a silencer will make you lose power. Please tell me that it's not true... =)

TIA

funny, I'm in the same boat (not w/ t1r though), just installed an exhaust today.

well, the drone is intolerably loud, shakes the entire car, gives me a pounding headache, and makes everyone glare at me. my ears are still ringing hours later. i do not have a low tolerance for this stuff, either, it's just too much.

i'm putting my silencers in for daily driving, f it. they're easy enough to take off for the track.

is it true it settles down with time though? and is it true a test pipe helps?

+1 lose power.. Test pipe won't help with noise reduction at all. Did you guys not look into exhaust before buying it?
