i believe mine weighed about 75 lbs with all the brackets/motors included. you can do the unit conversion.

wow 75 pounds would definitely make it worth removing..i've got a hardtop and i've been meaning to remove the soft top, anyone who's done it can give an estimate on how much time it takes?

75 is generous. unless the AP1 and AP2 soft tops and motors weigh different amounts. Ap1=65lbs or 30kg

well thats what my scale told me. i wouldnt lie/exaggerate. that is counting the motors, as well as the brackets and other stuff removed. and it takes a while to do, even with the service manual, but it is definitely worth the weight saving if you run the hardtop only. it also helps free up some cabin space to put stuff where the top used to be folded down.

well, if yours is plastic window then that alone is a good amount of weight difference between glass and plastic. Also, there is an extra beam on the glass soft top.
