Do you have an OEM or aftermarket alarm? My car has an aftermarket one and the alarm indicator light is located in the same area.

def an aftermarket alarm led light, check around the car for the brain and remove the components for the alarm as it may start to cause problems down the road if you dont have the remote for it, unless it is connected through your oem key fob.
