Default What does it take to make your diff safe at 350hp

I am contemplating getting a supercharger for my AP1. I would like to make 350 or 400whp.

What parts of the diff normally fail under such stress?

What does it take to fix the issues?

The endcaps normally fail. Your options are: get a reinforced diff, do an inlinepro diff swap, don't launch all the time, learn to drive.

You'll be fine, just be careful and use your head and not your foot.

I know that cryo-treatment strengthens a diff, but how much?
I have a cryo-treated AP1 diff from PuddyDad and I'm curious to if it'd hold this same amount of power significantly better over stock or just a little.

everything I've read about cryogenically freezing metal says it makes it more brittle.

With that in mind, you wouldn't want it done to drivetrain components since they see alot of abrubt shocking force.

as long as you don't launch much you should be fine, get a beefed up unit from HTG, wheel hop is the killer
