Exactly! I bought my HKS strictly for sound. So what if you gain 10whp off another one? What does that equate to in the real world?
Are you joking me? I don't know about you but 10whp on S is a big difference to me. You do buy exhaust for sound, but it's just stupid to spend hundreds of dollars to buy an exhaust that loses HP. Of course there has never been any proof of HKS losing power, but I've just seen too many saying it does, so I would say it's safe enough to say it doesn't gain much at all.

No way I'm buying an exhaust that doesn't offer any gains, and plus even though HKS sounds very good, it doesn't sound THAT crazy good to compensate the cons.

I completely agree here.... if I am going to spend hundreds of dollars on an exhaust, it better do something besides sound good.

I may be wrong, but hasn't there never been legit back to back dynos to prove any hp loss?

I was considering hks hi power, but I've chosen to go for a louder exhaust instead. Hks does sound very good but it's on the quiet side, and if i'm spending hundreds on an exhaust i want to be able to hear it with music on when i'm not flooring the car. In my opinion.

Take a look at singles too. All of them save you quiet a bit of weight, and some aren't that loud either.

Never seen one but I wouldn't bother buying simply because there are way too many out there saying it doesn't offer any gains.

From owner's point of view, probably it's hard for one to post up a dyno sheet showing loss of power from the exhaust they bought though.

Quiet and gains do not go together however, the difference between a loud exhaust and a quiet one may not be enough not to get the exhaust you like the best regardless of loss or gains.

Get HKS Hi-Power Dual exhaust. The best sounding exhaust for the S2000
Hmmm I have a T1R 70RT and I have a buddy with the HKS exhaust and the T1R sounds way better. It is deeper, but it is a very loud exhaust to some. I enjoy the sound a lot. It backfires very loud makes the car sound badass. I really recommend this exhaust if you can handle the sound and cost of getting it.

I'd imagine 70RT would be too loud for most since it's made fully in titanium. It is one of the lightest and will yield one of the highest gains out there though. I'd suggest those who want gains and not being too loud go for 63mm single.
