What do you mean by upgraded top?
It has a glass rear window top. The 2000 and 2001 came with a crappy plastic rear window so that's a plus that is was swapped out for the newer type.
The car just looks cheap with those wheels and intake. Personally wouldn't buy a car that someone put such crappy things on but doesn't mean they abused it or any issues with it.

Hasn't had the tail light recall done. Hence the white reflectors (they should be red)

Has the OEM spoiler, lip, and side strakes, hks exhaust

Nice mods and all of them are easy to sell. Probably $1300 bux right there alone if you choose to sell them at any time.

Not a bad find.

you should check every bumper part of the car for the original numbers that belong on the car. People don't report accidents so there no record of anything thte car can have clean title. I would bargain down to 6k, it's prob salvaged but not reported.

Lol @ 6K...I also agree at being patient at such a huge purchase...plus, you could be saving in the meantime while you search and maybe be able to afford an 02 or 03. Have you tried offering him less than he's asking yet? Worst way to buy something is to feel impatient or "desperate"...right now the ball's in your court. If he doesn't want to budge on price, just be prepared to walk away...best way to get a deal.

Yeah this guy could easily get another $2000 for this car with such a good amount of miles on it, but those wheels are killing it for me.

Went and test drove yesterday. Car was in pretty bad shape inside and out, large scratches, swirls from where someone tried and failed at buffing. Of course, dealer tells me they will "buff out". The "chrome" piece around the roof control and hazard switch had a lot of it's chrome paint flaked off, carpet and seats were dirty.

On the test drive, I started to push it to make sure everything sounded and felt ok through the RPM range and was told to calm down.

When leaving the lot, another guy came up to my car and told me "Next time you test drive, have some manners" and then when I asked what the issue was he'd just say "You know what I'm talking about." He finally said something about pushing the car so of course I bring up the 9K redline. He said something about treating a car with respect, I tell him "Forget the car, no deal" and as I'm rolling up my window I hear "We didn't want to sell to you anyway"

Yea, ok, don't sell your car. I'm looking at another one that is much cleaner in the same price range anyway.

EDIT: BTW, the exhaust sounded REALLY good

Wow what peckerheads. I'm glad you didn't give them your money.

Ohh, and I knew you would like the HKS exhaut too . There are way better deals to be found out there man, it just takes time.
