There are pads, though, that will resist fade on the track better than OEM pads and will still offer good cold braking performance and will be generally suitable for daily driving. But they may be noisy and/or may produce a lot of brake dust.

I changed my front pads last weekend and couldn't believe how fast and easy it was, when you do it per the manual (just removing the piston assembly rather than the entire caliper assembly). I figure I could do a pad swap on the front in about 15 minutes from jack-up to jack-down. Not sure if the rears are just as easy but they probably are.

The point being...get track pads for the track and street pads for the street and you won't have to deal with compromises in your pads.

Rears are a little more work. I forget if you can get away with just taking one bolt out and swing the caliper up like the front or not, but the rear caliper pistons need to be screwed back into the caliper, not just pushed in like the front. Just takes a minute or two longer.

You have to remove both bolts on the rears, they don't swing out like the fronts do. Still not too bad, though...

i would not get drilled rotors ever agian. i has drilled rotors on my old integra that i tracked. almost died because of it. i was taking a high speed turn at pretty much the limit of my integra when the rear driverside rotor cracked. the crack caught on the pads for just a moment locked the rear driver wheel and spun my ass out. came just a few feet from wall.

i will be honest as it was part driver error as i was taking the turn to fast and was still partialy braking while turning.

when i got the car back to the pits took it apart and it looked like shit. thank god a fellow integra owner had a extra rotor on him( why he didi i dont know) so i could drive home safely.

freak accident but almost pissed my pants and would rather not do that anymore. wish i had pics to show but dont.
