Default What spark plugs?

I am thinking of changing my spark plugs, what does everyone recommend?

I did search, but didn't find a clear answer? Can I use NGK coppers, or should I go with platinum or iridium?

Thanks,
Dave

BTW, my car is a stock 2001.

We've beat this to death.

Go with a platinum one. Brand isn't that important. When in doubt, just go to the dealership.

You don't need to waste your money on iridium. Copper will need to be replaced very often.

Thanks for answering. I did search a bit. The NGK platinum and iridium are the same price.

I think my local autozone has Denso in stock.

I know I am a little late for the party, but at least I made it!

and you still gotten it wrong?

not all platnium is the same, the oem plug is made specially for the s2000.

any brand is NOT fine, some denso iridium are known for breaking off the tip and fwak up your cylinder

stick with oem or try NGK iridium

The iridium ones are kind of iffy for me. I had the Denso iridium on my car and it broke apart on me. My friend at the dealership said that their has been a lot of incidents with those type of plugs. But you should take it with a grain of salt.
