Default What tunning solution to use?

whats the best tunning solution for my set up, so far i have skunk2 exhaust, K&N FIPK, Berk HFC and Private label Headers. future mods for the next 2 years or so will be PWJDM intake, Hytech header-exhuast system and may be cams. or do u guys think i should stay with stock ECU untill forther mods. plz chim in. im really hoping for some 1 to have a similar set up with tunning. Thanks in advance

if you want to get the most power out of your setup u should get aem ems or hondata kpro and find a good tuner.

yup if you got the money tune it.
if you got even more money, get more mods, then tune it.
if you dont got the money, dont mod.

what they said…or if your on a budget get a vafc and a good tuner. I picked up almost 15 whp with my vafc

right on thanks a lot guys. does the VAFC work okay with DBW?


and sadley I do not have the kind of budget for an AEM EMS. although I would love to get it.

If you can't afford the AEM, you can't afford the rest of the parts you quoted.

A real programmable ECU should be your next mod if you wish to maxmize the mods you have, let alone any future ones.

Just get a vafc. Sure you'll get a little more with standalone but also at $1000+ extra.
You want to do NA only I guess? All the money you are spending on those mods are gonna get you like 20whp probably and will cost 5 grand or so probably with tuning.

Since you've got the dbw setup, you might want to stick with the Hondata. If you're going to stick with just N/A mods, just get a hondata reflash. But if you're going to go FI, pick up the dual ecu harness. Being an 06, you might start running a bit lean with all your mods, since our ecu's got leaner and leaner as each new model year came out.

will the reflash work properly even though Hondata tested it with OEM header and with Toda header only?
