Default Wheel + suspension combo question

I'm thinking about getting RPF-1s (17x8+45 17x9+45) with Falken RT-615 (225/45 255/40).

I'm also planning on getting Ground Control/Koni Yellows with a very high spring rate and dropping about 1" +/-

I want to keep the drop mild, I'm not trying to slam it. I really want to keep a stock alignment because I won't be using these wheels everyday.... The tires are too expensive! (I'm a student)

Will this set-up fit ok with or without rolling the fenders? Or do I need to give it negative camber?

just search or ask in the rpf-1 post in the gallery for fitment

i am not sure koni yellow off the shelf can control a "very high" springrate

shyguy, I'm currently doing something very similar with my car.

I've been running the Volk ce28n in the 17x7.5+50 / 17x9+63, with the same size tires. IMO, this size and fitment is perfect for clearing the fender without modification. Your front offset is going to fit about the same (5mm difference), shouldn't be a problem. On the rear, those wheels will stick out 18mm further, about 3/4". To make that work, I suspect you'll need a fender roll, some serious camber (more than stock), or possibly a narrower tire.

For a 1" drop, I just picked up a set of Bilstein pss9 coilovers. Used they can be found for about $1k, very close to what you'll pay for GCs and konis.

I've been searching a lot. I just don't know if they'll fit without a lot of negative camber.... which everyone has anyways. I was going to do KWv3s but I can't quite afford them right now.

well, ride height is simple to achieve, a good damper that controls the low ride height is not. i am not sure yellow could support that, esp if you going really low, which you want to go custom on the spring rate.

oem damper are monotube and yellow are twin tube with a smaller bore piston size(correct me if i am wrong)
