Default when is someone going to make a Gears rep. lip?

Alright guys...I been wanting a Gears lip forever and I'm tired of wating for someone to make a replica at least. I would be willing to pay good money for a high-end replica too(in other words, with good fitment and good quality and no the usual eBay fitment.)

Just tought I would post for the slight change some sponsor/vendor or someone on here decided to be the first, pretty sure there's a lot of us still waititng for that day />

A sponsor's/vendors cost would be too much to replicate that lip for such a small market. The ap1's fronts are a dying off, many ap1 owners run ap2 bumper or aftermarket Bumpers. Most ap1's have their oem front lips and seem to stand buy their 400 dollar lip because of perfect fitment.

I don't think i would cost much at all for a company to replicate this gear lip in China/Japan. Urethane, they make this lip for under 20 dollar and sell it for 400 dollars.

Market may be small but i'm sure it wont cost much to make one.

I think the AP2 front is uglt compared to AP1 one, i'm running a AP1 Amuse lip, its awesome.

I have been waiting and asking several vendors to pick it up. One company tried but I think he gave up. I would buy an oem lip if they were still available. All the used one I see in decent condition are on the other end of the country, and the only ones that pop up near me are cracked or damaged. I like the BYS, but I am not willing to spend close to 1k for a lip that will more than likely get damaged shortly after mounting. This is close to what the gears retailed for as well. I have a limit of about 3-400 I would be willing to spend on a lip, anything more than that is just ridiculous. I don't see how honda charges 250-300 for the bumper, but companies want 4 times that for a cosmetic accent. I would rather buy a set of starspecs and carbotech pads with 1k than a lip. (rant over)
I had an ap2 bumper and cr lip a while back. It sat in my garage for a couple months before I made up my mind that I like the ap1 front, so I sold it.
