Default Where to buy wings?

I'm looking to possibly buy a Spoon 3DGT carbon wing as a present and I've seen drastic price differences from the Spoon USA compared the Japan websites. Anyone have any experience on buying these parts from Japan? It seems to be about one thousand dollars cheaper without any taxes or customs. If I were to buy it from Japan how much am I expecting to pay for customs? Does anyone have Japan websites I can possibly look at or should I just avoid all the hassle from international shipping and customs or whatever else. Thank you!

Shipping that is going to be fairly expensive. Plus the potential for import duty tax as well.

Could try www.jessestreeter.com

I use rhdjapan.com and nengun.com usually when ordering from Japan, although it is usually better for smaller items because I think the shipping is based on volume.
As far as customs go, I've only had to pay once. I think they let a lot of smaller packages through without checking. The one time I did have to pay customs was an exhaust I ordered even though I've purchased other smaller items that had a higher value.
Now is a good time to order because the Yen is very weak vs the dollar right now. In fact I have some J's tie rod ends just pass through customs yesterday and should arrive at my house shortly.

yeah, considering ordering a seat through rhdjapan, shipping is 650 but the seat itself is 800, total still cheaper than some of the US websites.

The yen is weak right now so there is a decent savings but like others mentions shipping is still very pricey especially for something large like a wing and assuming you want to receive it in a timely manner and in one piece.

As long as items are in stock it usually only takes a few days.

Thanks for the help I’ll look at the shipping costs. Before the shipping and the customs I saw there was about a 1k difference sometimes in different websites compared to the us spoon. Thanks and if anyone else has different websites still let me know! I’m just looking to try to get it for Christmas possibly.

It says eta would be in 3 months but the shipping on bottom left is 2-6 days what does this mean exactly?
