Anyone know of anyone who has done a DIY single but still used a stock muffler? I know they're heavy, but they're quiet.

Keep us in mine if you do this. Creating a single outlet from the massive one-piece OEM dual exhaust will be quite a job so take a lot of photos to show us. I fully understand projects for the sake of projects and you probably already have the dual exhaust so we're only dealing with labor.

Eh, I dunno if I'll embark on this unless I can find some evidence that it's a decent outcome. At the moment, I don't *have* a full exhaust, as stock was damaged and had to be cut (btwn muffler split and resonator). I have all the materials for a robrob DIY single incl. an aftermarket muffler but checking alternatives.
