Im looking at getting some 18X8 front and 18X9 rear wheels with a 45 offset all the way around..I will have eibach 1" lowering springs..215 40 18 front tires and 245 35 18 back tires..should these fit without rubbing or rolling fenders? Is anyone running a similiar setup Im just not sure if lowering it with the eibachs will cause me to have to roll the fenders for these 18s to fit. Eibachs are the springs that lower the least correct? I want it to have the lower stance but not too low to where the wheels wont fit as which would be the case right now with my espelir springs I have on.Any advice would be much appreciated.

 

Eibach's will lower approx. 1 inch. You'll probably be alright, but you may eventually wish to roll your fenders when you step up to a larger tire.

 

ok..I just wasnt sure with a 45 offset..I just really dont know what all is involved with rolling fenders..it sounds damaging and permanent...

 

so does everyone think that that shouldnt be a problem on a 8" front wheel? I just really want to be sure before I buy them.. it would be a front 18X8 wheel 45 offset 215 40 tire and back would be 18X9 45 offset 245 35..should that work ok?

 

I just know a 45 offset isnt really ideal for our cars..but I love these wheels Im looking at..I hope they will work..

 

I ran a very similar set up. I have Eibach springs and my old wheel set up was 18x8 +45 F with a 215 tire and didn't rub at all. Your fine in the front. The rear could possibly rub a little bit on a big bump, I rubbed moderately with -2 camber and 18x9 +50 wheel in the rear, but I ran a 255 rear tire. If you rub, and don't want to roll your fenders, run more camber. You can definately make those wheels work.

You will be fine, remember you have negative camber to work with as part of the fitment equation, plus it gives you better grip in the turns. Rolling fenders is the last resort. I'm running a 9.5" 38mm offset for the rear with 245's in a 17, but i'm dropped 2" and running -3 camber

 

awesome you guys have helped me decide then. Im going with a veniteri wheel..give me a sec and I will post it. So maybe I wont rub at all then with a 18X9 rear 45 offset then..I plan on running a 245 35 18 tire in the rear. And I know the eibach springs dont lower too much. Im really hoping I dont have to run negative camber though because thats a problem I have now with these espelir springs Im dropped and the tires are wearing on the inside super quick.
