Post Wix Air Filter Replacement Pics

I just replaced my dirty air filter, I thought I post some pics, since there isn't much pics on this site. This is a WIX brand air filter. I got it for $27 from Kragen O'Reilly Auto Parts. It looks like a quality made filter and it was pre-oiled and easy installation.
I drive with air filter box closed, not open like in the photo below.

Get a K&N. Its a good investment being that is reuseable and all. Maybe a extra pony or two

I'll sacrifice a pony or two any day to get away from the poor filtration of a K&N.

OP, thanks for the pictures. It looks to be a quality filter, no surprise coming from WIX.

I have the WIX filter too. It looks like it's made by Toyo Roki. Same manufacturer of the OEM air and oil filter. I believe you'll see the TR stamped on the larger end.

Yes please do, ive been running K&N for years w/o a problem, and no many other people with the exact same, and have never heard of any problems or "bad filtration" from a K&N filter.

Also, theres a thread on here somewhere, where someone put a drop-in filter back to back on a dyno and showed 7hp gain JUST by the K&N filter

it looks good, does it have a built in air horn (smooth radius at the interior of the base) like the OEM filter ?, I think that is an important feature of any filter used on the vehicle.
