Wrapping my Header

So i started the S today and quickly backed it out of the garage and popped the hood.. holly hell does that bbq paint smell awful lol

its not the paint its the hardeners and everything in the wrap including the paint getting up to temp.

it does stink for a day or so give her a good 1-3 pull will clear it right up did for me

yup, same with the test pipe i painted. was a bit stinky for a little bit, but it'll clear up

You don't really have to Paint it right? I got DEI titanium wrap and it gives off this carbon fiber look. I don't want to paint it, I don't think painting will make that much of a difference right?

No need to paint it at all the titanium stuff is really good high quality wrap.

the paint is mostly to turn the other color wrap black and maybe help insulate it better. if your worried about corrosion then shoot it with the silicone spray to make it sort of water proof, but the s2000 keeps most of the water well away from the engine bay so the wrap will hold up

should be juuuust enough if you're really good about overlapping only 1/4" each time around

Like i stated previously id get a roll of 2x50 and maybe another of 2x25 or something because if you screw up once you are likely to be short a little.
