Default wrong lugs

Am I going to die?

I have extended studs and the oem lugs won't fit. I have open ended ball seat lugs coming in in about a week.

***new oem open ended lugs (Post #16)***

As tempting as those beautiful aftermarket lugs look they aren't safe for the long term. I would be fine running them for a week though, until your other lugs arrive. Just double check the torque of the lugs once and a while until the new lugs are in your possession. I've run aftermarket tapered seat lugs on oem wheels a lot longer than one week by mistake, it takes a bit of wear and use to get to the dangerous point afaik. You should be fine for one week, no problem, check the tightness once and a while though.

Has anyone even used those SSR conversion washers?? I would just wait until your other lugs come in to drive.....not worth it IMO.

Get a set of OEM lugs. If you own OEM wheels, there's no reason to not have a set lying around.
