That's the one that I bought. It was a horrible fit regardless.

Ah hah! I don't know if these mounts are good or bad, here's an image someone posted a while back. Click on the image to follow the link over to the post.

In my opinion, when I had it installed to see how it looks, it looked horrible. Our interiors are way smaller than any other car so it looks out of place and right smack in the middle. Not a good location because of potential thieves. I now just have suction cups to the right of the mirror as high as I could. Definitely looks more stealth.

i think they are pretty stupid. They hold your radar below your rear view (not the most ideal location) when your suction cups can do that! I never got them, and they are kind of pricey for what they are. + the are not even theft proof, which would be about the only advantage i could see from one

If someone breaks in your car they're going to take the radar regardless. To me the mount is very firm compared to just using the suction cups and it's a much nicer "feel" if you will when you mute it or lock out false signals. llckll you had said that you bought the 2004, you need the 2005. Anyways if you're not happy with it just sell it

In any case, I also have the visor mount which I may use instead of the suction cups.

Are you saying this based on photos or actual first hand experience?

The BlendMount in my wife's car is a solid mount with excellent build quality and fit & finish. I won't dispute overpriced. I got it when they were beta testing the V1 mount so it wasn't full price in my case. I'm not sure I'd buy it at full price.

I use a mute wire attached to my turn signal stalk. Suction cup mount works great for me. Obviously, YMMV.

If you're looking to show it off to cops, IMO. Perfectly in my book is high and slightly to the right of the RVM. I've left the BlendMount in my wife's car but the V1 is rarely in that car.
