yellow headlights

Default yellow headlights

Hey guys, just wanted a bit of help regarding yellow headlights. In my old glanza I just bought yellow nokya bulbs and replaced them, easy peasy and had mega yellow headlights. I wanted to know how difficult it was to change the bulbs in the s2000 as they are HID/xenons (not sure what they are)or wether it would be easier to cover them with a yellow film. Thanks

Don't bother changing the bulbs. Honda HID bulbs for the s2k are pretty bright and nice so instead of putting some chinese yellow bulbs in there, put yellow flim over them. I've seen guys put yellow flim on the headlights.

i dont understand why you would want yellow headlights? akes the car look cheap IMO

Look at his location, he needs to cut through the fog

A yellow bulb makes most sense to me, unless you like the look of yellow film.

I love the yellow bulbs, and the nokya bulbs are the brightest ones I've ever used

3k bulbs burn yellow.

In my old S I had yellow high beams bulbs, it worked great for the foggy days with out looking tacky. You should maybe go that route..

High beams are not HID's, they are standard H1 bulbs (I have yellow H1 bulbs for my high beams). If you really want to change your headlights to yellow (I would just do the high beams), you will need to change out the HID bulbs to a 3000k D2S bulb

Using your high beams in fog will not help you see better, I think it has something to do with the light reflecting off the fog.
