Default ZEX #82021

just purchased this kit zex 82021. Also bought the dynotune bottle warmer, cold fusion purge solenoid, and a zex pressure gauge that sits on bottle.

645+shipping for the kit, 140 for the bottle warmer, purge kit 115 bucks, and 50 bucks for a pressure gauge.... i just spent over 900 bucks on this damn kit and i'm now debating whether i should install it or not... lol.... right after i bought this damn kit someone told me the engine gets used to turbo or s/c because it is constant beating on the engine, but nitrous is like shocking the engine and will destroy it even faster than something that is on 24/7 while driving... should i just sell the kit or what should i do? lol install it and hope for the best... i just wanted the extra 60whp without having to spend 7000 on a proper turbo build...

Nitrous wont destroy anything. U can spray a 100 shot on a stock ecu. Just have to know the dues and donts.

PM JuicedS2k or whatever his name is. There are plenty of people here that spray on the regular. As long as you arent a tard about it everything will be fine. With bottle heaters, window switches, double solenoid protection and all the other gadgets they have out there today, your engine is pretty safe. I would recomment a system you can tune it with. But the stock engine and ECU should be fine.

Wait for one of the spray guys to get into it.

Am I the only one in here that thinks the whole thing about how "the engine gets used to a super/turbo cuz its on there all the time" thing is a bit ridiculous.
I mean its an engine not a body builder, it is metal not organic how does it get used to anything?

I think the guy explained it wrong: NOS is a big hit of power at once, its has a big "jerk" - where as turbo/super is a gradual gain of power thru the RPMs. i think its the same thing if you use a fat turbo that takes forever to spool.
