Is there a difference between the k24a1 crankshaft and the k24a2 crankshaft?

All k24 crankshafts are the same. Supposedly the TSX one is micropolished and balanced but that doesn't justify the $500 difference.

Some of the K24 crankshafts are double counterweighted, and other ones single counterweighted. Some of the lower powered ones also miss out on the nitriding treatment as well.

i have the BC kit. its great. but i wouldnt do it unless u have a rather large bank balance, and a very experienced mechanic and workshop that can bore out the engine properly

Why do you need a skilled mechanic to bore? The kit requires sleeves....

inline pro makes a kit that strokes to 2.7 anyone tried that and if so what are the numbers.
