^ Alex @ Ballade Sport has this particular set up on hand for the AP1. I've been thinking of going this route instead of installing my 4.77. Now if I can find someone to take my 4.77 off my hands - hit me up i sale for cheap.

4.44 final drive and 1.261 secondary gears would be like using a 4.64 gears on the car

oo that would be a nice combo not too short like the 4.77. I might go that route too LOL

if you want 4.57 gearing then the only other way besides finding a 4.57 is to get the 1.261 secondary gear reduction and then a 4.3 final drive. this combo will be slightly higher than 4.57 but it will be the closest.

if anyone gets the secondary gear reduction, i would recommend contacting puddydad to reinforce the diff because the secondary gear reduction will increase the torque applied to the diff.

The ring and pinion fitment is not ideal which results in increased and quite noisy gear whine. Better to stick to the 4.4 or 4.7

This I have heard a million times, which adds to people dilema; get the perfect balance of acceleration and rev's on the highway with 4.57's , but get gear whine, or choose the lower 4.4 which might not be enough acceleration for some, or the 4.77 which has the high freeway rpm.

There is also a Kia 4.62 final drive out there that is a little tamer and doesnt whine either, I think it's just the Richmond 4.57 ones mostly
