Default J's Racing exhaust questions...

hey sup guys?

I'm not too sure where this topic would go but i'm usually browsing in this section of the forums and see a lot of people talking about different exhaust so hope i'm asking in the right place... So anyways I'm looking into purchasing a J's Racing 70RR Single exhaust, now is the Titanium better or is the stainless steel one??

A guy told me that J's racing are not gonna be making any of the 70RR in the titanium material but he said that the kind of stainless steel material that J's Racing uses is suppose to be better for power wise compared to the titanium... anybody know anything about that?

I thought titanium is usually just better overall compared to stainless steel material but i know i could be wrong... anyone??

A guy? A reputable guy? An importer of J's racing products? Why would SS make more or less power than a Ti exhaust? Ti tends to last less time. The internals of J's mufflers used to come apart inside and rattle. The Ti will not hold up to a ton of speed bump scrubs (noting your sig)

If I was looking at a J's exhaust I'd be getting a SS one and saving money with IMO (and quite debatable) a more quality piece. Even the weight is fairly similar.

yeah my friend from DWSparts.com told me about that information. I didn't know about how the titanium don't last as long but i guess if the stainless steel will do the same as titanium then i'll just get that.

I have the j's Racing 70RS titanium that i'm gonna be selling soon so i was just gonna get the 70RR version but just wanted to make sure the stainless steel is gonna be just as good as the titanium will be.

I got a J's 70RR that has been installed in my car for nearly 6 months and I'm very happy with it. The quality of the welds is amazing. As far as the weight goes It is just a slightly heavier than the TI one by about 2-3 lbs. For the price difference I would get the SUS ( if you can find one) considering that J's just raised their prices. The new 70RR TI is now priced at $2,775.00 as opposed to a SUS for $1,000.00. Hope this helps.
