piston to wall clearance is thousands... they recommend 0.002-0.003, Mine ended up between 0.0035 and 0.004
mahle is going to make the rings, currently they dont but are in the process of getting that together. They wont make the pistons just to have to buy the rings from someone else.
They did a custom set for me that are 0.25mm oversize during the first run but they wont be doing any others. Stock ap2 oil rings are 2mm

And this is for the special material Honda uses which has a very low thermal expansion coefficient.
I use 8/100 mm clearance for my pistons.
I had a look into the Woessner catalogue. They offer 2mm oil rings only up to 80.5mm bore. All others are 2.5mm thick.
Almost all factory honda stuff uses very tight piston-wall clearance
stock is 0.0002"-0.0011" The service limit is 0.002
0.08mm is 0.0031" which is a little tighter than mine ended up being.
We use inches here.. haha

Man, you drive me crazy with your unit system....
I thought we were always talking in metrical units. We have a japanese car and we're talking about german pistons. Who is using inches? The V8 community, OK. But here?

This motor needs cams and an intake manifold bad. It's pulling almost 1psi of vacuum past 7000rpms
I wont know for sure till I get it worked out. Afaik noone has ever built a motor like this so there's no telling. Ill be testing a few intake combos to see what works the best then go from there

There's an easy way to get around that vacuum problem, pressurize the intake
lol
lolI made a giant 4 inch cold air intake last night.. it made a BIG difference over the 3inch short ram I had... I havent been able to do any logging yet but i did have to add almost 10% fuel to it.
