what header is this?

Default what header is this?

Im looking at a header and the guy is pretty sure its a replica, anyone have any ideas?

I can't really tell from the pictures but it looks like a JVT Racing (or copy) or a Toda Copy. A lot of members have had the welds break on cheaper replica exhausts. Something to consider, may be more trouble than its worth.

something to consider. ive had good luck with megan in the past but then again that wasnt an S

I don't know if I would buy it not knowing the brand of header. Some headers actually lose power on the S. G/l with your purchase.

Kinda looks like a lesser version of mine, the PLM header



The welds don't look as clean and looks nicer than the one in question. IMO.

yeah i was looking at that one on ebay...is it the nitrate coated one?

I think ill pass for now until i can find one I know who makes it and a dyno sheet with it.

this one im questionning would need the o2 bung modified so it doesnt hit the chassis. is the plm free of mounting issues? as it looks the o2 sensor is in the same location.

Yes, it is nitrate coated. No I did not have any mounting issues. The stock 02 sensor went on with out a hitch and no issues with it hitting the chassis.

There is also plenty of discussion of the PLM header on the NA forum.
