Default 2-way diff for track?

I'm getting a good deal on a 2-way diff.
Should I go with it or just skip?
I don't track the car when wet.
Your experience/opinion is greatly appreciated.

Just from my years around the forum it seems most people do not switch out the LSD.

If you daily drive the car a 2 way is going to be annoying.

Ive drove a 2 way diff in an Ae86 and it is very difficult as it locks under deaccel.
I think most choose 1.5 diffs for this reason and i will when I get one, but im an autoxer

you should ask the differential company that you are going to buy the diff from to see what would suit you the best. I know OSGIKEN will customize a diff for your needs.

Drove an ap2 with osgekin 2way, and jrz's. You can get the car to rotate faster and get back on power much quicker, also imo, when you get back on power the car wants to go straight more, thus making your track outs tighter, and allowing for more speed.

Only did 6-8 runs in it, it was a championship winning car, and I have no idea how it drives on the street.

With the OEM helical I have the choice of driving styles on corner entry, but with a 2-way you'll have to be comfortable with a loose setup on the rear to prevent under steer, as the 2-way will cause push on corner entry. It will make wet driving dicey and will cause the car to pull in opposite directions under accel/decel if you have mismatched tire wear.
