2011 S2K Challenge
Hey Everyone,
So, more changes in the S2K Challenge world!
Ed Lee and I have been communicating and it looks like Speed Ventures will continue to be the home for the S2K Challenge in 2011. I do not want to speak for Ed, but he expressed his strong support for this outcome and graciously offered his hope that it would thrive with Speed Ventures. Needless to say, we are thrilled with this development. From our perspective, there are no bridges burned and we are now re-doubling our efforts to grow and improve the S2K Challenge.
In order to build a better series, Speed Ventures has formed an S2K Challenge advisory board currently consisting of VitaRenovatio (Nam), dipstick (Mike T.), Ben22 (Ben), and psychoazn (Mike K.). We may add more board members if needed, but for now the Board is working together to finalize the schedule, rules, sponsorship, and prizes/contingencies so we can move forward asap with the 2011 season.
The provisional schedule is posted below, however, it will most likely be shortened to put less pressure on drivers to attend a large number of events. We expect to have the rules finalized very soon and to finalize and modify the schedule below. Any feedback, as always, is welcome.
We look forward to seeing you all with the S2K Challenge in 2011!!

How does everyone feel about the first S2KC event being at the end of this month? Is too soon?

Can you feel the love?
If you shorten the schedule, please keep the Spring Mtn., Chuckwalla and Laguna Seca dates, and get rid of dates at SOW and ACS. The variety and better tracks makes the series much more fun. Thanks.
