4 points Rollbar
Called Tom and seems like he's ready to take orders................... appears he's more of a fabricator/designer than a sales/marketing guy. Said pics would be coming out on his site soon.
Prices quoted over the phone include black powder coat, and everything (including powder coating) is done in-house.
Std 4 point: $500
4 pt w/welded x-brace and harness bar: $600
4 pt w/removable x-brace and harness bar: $750
Welded x-brace and harness bar renders 'glove box' and secret compartment unusable. Some trimming of plastic on OEM hoops in all cases. Guaranteed fitment with soft top - did not inquire about hard top.
Can ship UPS, barely. Quote I was given was $70 to Maryland - dunno if that's his standard rate regardless of destination, or if his rate is destination dependant.
Good conversation - seems like he's got his act together, and spent all the time I wanted, discussing the different configurations.
FINALLY, IT'S HERE FOR REAL

Good work kleecker, thank you for your efforts

With the welded diagonal bar, the secret compartment only opens about 2". its enough to shove a tire gauge or wheel lock key into the first part of the compartment but don't expect anything more then that.

No, he's right. The diagonal blocks the secret compartment. At least, that's how it was for the ELDA version.
My concern
1. Which one are legal for what kind of races?
(sample 4pt for auto-x only and 4pt w/ x brace for SCCA TT only)
2. Use of stock seat belt.
3. Use of harness.
4. Use of secret compartment. (I just might take the cover off)
5. How much trim on stock parts?
6. Fit under soft top.
7. Lost in seat travel.
8. convert back to stock in case of ....
