I drove the Time Trial with NCRC at Thunderhill this weekend, and thought I'd won my class -- until I saw the timing sheet. An S2000 I never even saw beat me by a full second.

There's nothing wrong with that, of course -- the S2000 is a great platform.

But I'd like to know some of the details about the car that schooled me. It's a black S2000 with (I'm told) a big wing in the back. The driver is named Dennis Matson, I think. The event was September 30.

 

Time to upgrade?

So I can say 'Nobody beat me.' in the time trial, and yet I still came in second place.

 

I thought he came in 2nd. His car is bone stock, just like yours

Give us times! How much did he beat you by? Did you get into the 2:20s?
