Default Adding a New Harness Bar

I have a Hard Dog 4pt with harness and diagonal. I am in need to add a New Harness bar as the one that came with it is to high.....

Do you guys know anyone in So. Cal who does nice clean jobs......Beta Motorsports is unavailable until the end of the year.

Thanks in advance

So your sceret compartment/glovebox has been removed? Or do plan to run it through the secret compartment?

I was going to recommend John @ Beta. Don't know who else to send you to in SoCal. If you want to drive up to the bay area, talk to Tony at TC Design.

That's actually a good thing. I realize you want it done now however the fact they are booked months in advance shows they do quality work and are in high demand. I'd be leery of anyone who can do it right away. They aren't busy for a reason.

Is the bar too high for your preference or for the organization you are running with? FIA states that the harness can run 45* (or 40* ) up from level FYI

John at Beta is great.....he installed my bar. My interior is gone so no compartment.

Yes I know too high is better that too low, but what happens is that the harness wraps under the shoulder opening and it also digs into the neck....not a good thing.

maybe I have to wait for now I guess. I just wished Hard Dog would place the harness in the proper location to begin with......Maybe I should have told them no interior........oh well

Yes, you should have. The design that GFL(and Elda for that matter) submitted conceded leaving the interior mostly intact. I had one and then sold it when I elected to remove the softtop and glovebox. I then had them make me a completely welded bar with the lower harness bar(approx. 8" off the rear deck).
