Default Advan RG-D made especially for the S2000

I am placing this post here as many of you that participate in this topic requested a 17x9.0+60 size and offset for non staggered configurations.

ScienceofSpeed has collaborated with Yokohama Tire, manufacture of Advan wheels in Japan, to produce a S2000 specific width and offset made especially for the S2000. As many of you know, current Advan wheels have too low of offsets to be used on the S2000 without cutting or rolling of the fenders.

The popular RG-D wheel has been selected. The RG-D is similar to the RGII, but with a lip. This concaved 6 spoke motorsports inspired wheel perfectly matches the body lines of the S2000. These specific wheels, as with every Advan wheel, will be JASMA certified for strength and feature Yokohama's superior quality. You can read more information about Yokohama's manufacturing process here:
http://www.scienceofspeed.com/products/ext...nTechnology.pdf

This wheel is being offered in these sizes:
17x8.0+54 & 17x9.0+60

18" sizes may be produced if we receive enough interest (since 30 sets must be made, we are requiring at least 6 sets to be committed).

Customers running race setups may also elect to use a non staggered size all the way around with 17x9.0+60 front and rear for wide race tires.

The wheels are being offered in Matte Black, Hyper Silver, and Advan Gold.

These wheels are in the process of being designed and manufactured. The lead time is approximately 5-6 months (late Dec, early Jan). For those who commit to a set, we have arranged a significant discount (please e-mail for details, this offer expires after 6 sets are sold) and pre-orders can be arranged with only a $250.00 deposit.

If you are interested, please e-mail us (info@ScienceofSpeed.com):
1. size requested
2. color requested

We will e-mail back with pricing and ordering information.

best regards,

Emailed SoS today. I forgot to add the size and color. 17x9+60 non-staggered in either black or gold. Sorry Chris.

$2200 - $2400 for a set of track wheels is a bit out range IMHO.
