Default Alignment Method

I am going to have my AP2 aligned here at work, an automotive dealership, and needed to know how the S is aligned. Does it use eccentric bolts or does it need shims? Can a qualified technician from another brand align this car?

This will be an SCCA Solo AS alignment. I am planning on max front camber, zero toe, -2.25 rear camber and just shy of 1/4" toe-in.

It uses eccentrics. Any competent alignment tech can do it, but there's a learning curve involved, especially in the front, where all the adjustments interact with each other.

Thank you Ludedude. The tech I will be using takes care of the owners race cars, and is very good. He did the alignment on my other AS car

Then you should be in good hands

You might rethink that rear toe number; I'd try going with something closer to 1/8" total toe in the rear, especially with the improved rear suspension geometry of the AP2 chassis.
