Does the steering rod connect behind the ball joints then? That would change my answer from #5 to #6.

Our tie rod is in the front unlike my high performance Camry. Hahaha

Orthonormal, why does that matter? I don't think it should. He made a toe in change. Toe in is toe in no matter where the steering link is. Maybe you were thinking he "shortened" the steering link?

But Mac, what you really want to know is if this change will cause the car will pull to one side, right?

I don't think I said toe in?.

Well, the poll question was "What would happen if I adjust my front right tie rod in (shorter)." I didn't look at the text of the post where he said "toe in".

Shortening the tie rod (moving the end in) will create toe-in if the rod connects in front of the ball joints, toe-out if it connects behind. I thought that the rod connects in front, but rlaifatt claimed that "only 2 people have the right answer so far" (which at the time indicated answer #6). So I wondered if I hadn't really gotten a good look at the suspension when I had the shocks out on Saturday.

The car won't pull to the side due to toe, in either case.

Ah yes, I didn't notice the text above the poll. We're even. I understand.
