The main wing cross section is actually catalogued by NACA (National Advisory Council Aeronautics) #4412

Are you building the car for Honda Challenge or is that going on Karner's car or what?

Will the rear bumper cover still fit on - and what are the hose clamps for?

Where it attaches to the car, the allen bolts don't look spaced apart much verically; the uppers are going to have some pretty extreme tension. If you can confidently bounce your whole body weight on each of the tubes extending rearwards, then you're probably okay.

Now let's see something similar for the front!

No H1, just Sunday drives at the track. Although it would be nice seeing it put to better use if Karner takes any interest.

Bumper goes back but only with 2 holes

The clamps are for adjustment. The wing can be positioned 13" for and aft. The later for greater leverage DF.

The bolts are placed so to screw into the existing mounts. Not really the best location but it seems to hold up fine with me bouncing on it (150lbs) It feels really sturdy. I bet it can take more than double my weight.

btw the whole assembly is 22.5lbs and the stock bumper support I removed is 12.5lbs.

Ground effects for the front is next and possibley a diffuser sometime later.

OK... I know very little about aerodynamics, etc... but if that wing creates downforce, wouldn't it cause lift in the front, since it's so far behind the rear axle? It would create a lever action, with the rear axle being the swivel point, and the nose would be raised.

Also, it would suck if somebody rear-ends you. They're going to get a couple of nice punctures in their nose.

WOW... oh my, WOW!!
Shouldn't this be over at Honda-Tech under their Appearance/Cosmetic?

WoW!

My wing is a bit more useful, however...although i'm told illegal for DM:

I've seen Kams wing in person on his CRX and it provide a ton of downforce! His CRX would be so tail happy without it

So the hose clamps squeeze the pipe enough to keep it from moving?

The clamps seems to hold it in just fine. T-bone clamps would be better. I'm not too worried about it sliding off since the diagonal force of the wing will bind the sliding pipe together somewhat.

Maybe you should ask the guys behind you what they think? Personally I wouldn't get on the track at the same time as that contraption.
